Kurt Cobain was born on February 20, 1967 in small town Aberdeen, Washington DC. In 1988 he founded the group Nirvana, and with it a new musical grunge style.
The first organized group of them had the name "Fecal Matter".
A talented singer, Kurt Cobain became a rock legend in the 1990s with his band Nirvana and his most famous song «Smells Like Teen Spirit». After that, he became the idol of millions of young people across America.
He has released six albums, including three live.
His most famous album is called "Nevermind" and occupies 17 th place in history by Rolling Stones magazine among the 500 best albums of all time.
He was found dead on April 8, 1994 at his country house in Seattle.
